What this site is
MyRetroTVs is an independent website about retro television. It combines a free in-browser retro TV simulator with original guides on the history of television, how CRT screens work, how to buy a vintage set safely and how to enjoy classic games on a tube.
What we publish
- A free retro TV simulator that shows static, scanlines and channel changes.
- Decade-by-decade writing on how television looked and felt from the 1950s to the 2000s.
- Practical guides and checklists for owners, collectors and fans.
Editorial approach
All writing on this site is original. We aim to keep historical details general and accurate, and we encourage readers to confirm specific dates with reference sources before citing them. If you find a mistake, please tell us through the contact page and we will review it.
Independence and copyright
MyRetroTVs is not affiliated with any television brand, broadcaster or simulator. Brand names are used only to describe products and history, and they belong to their owners. The simulator on this site is a visual effect only: it does not host or stream third-party shows, commercials or music.
